Self Assessment
For this assignment I have grown in creating resumes now as before then my resumes feel like they’re empty compared to the one I have made this semester and the same thing goes for my cover letter. This is because I have engaged in the second learning objective in this course which has allowed me to be able to strengthen my revision skills. In my cover letter I noticed that I’ve included something that sounds like anyone could do but ended up correcting it to sound unique which is the example of my expertise in troubleshooting when technology is faulty and I believe I made myself sound more helpful especially for technology. I also have succeeded in learning objective six which is to formulate and articulate my writing which I managed to do. For example on my resume instead of saying just English and Japanese I put “Can Speak English and Japanese” to better fit the environment I am writing for and to give a better description of certain awards on my resume to indicate its importance like the valedictorian award.
